Aliağa Helvacı Sports drew attention with its successful performance in the İzmir U-18 League and continued its impressive run in the play-off stage after winning the group championship.

The Aliağa representative completed all matches in the final group undefeated, defeating KSK Karagöl Sports Club 3-1 in the last match to become the İzmir Champion.

With this significant achievement, the Aliağa Helvacı Sports U-18 Team completed both stages of the İzmir U-18 League with championships and will represent Aliağa in the Turkey Finals after the draw to be held on February 24.

After the championship, the Aliağa Helvacı Sports U-18 Team visited Aliağa Mayor Serkan Acar in his office.

The visit included Aliağa Municipality Helvacı Unit Responsible Serhat Aras, Aliağa Helvacı Sports Club President Kazım Nuri Yıldız, Aliağa Helvacı Sports U-18 Team Technical Responsible Mehmet Ateş, and the technical team.

Mayor Serkan Acar congratulated the athletes and technical staff who became İzmir Champions and wished the team success in the Turkey finals.

Following the championship, Aliağa Helvacı Sports U-18 Team Technical Responsible Mehmet Ateş stated, "We became champions first in our group and then in the İzmir finals.

All 24 players in our team are from Aliağa, and we have no players from outside.

They have been with us since they were 9 years old and have grown through the infrastructure.

We have a draw for the Turkey Finals ahead.

No matter which provinces we go to, we will represent our Helvacı and Aliağa in the best way possible.

We set our goals high and aim for the Turkey Championship.
