After the damage caused by the earthquake on October 30, the necessary approvals have been obtained for the new building to be constructed in place of the Metropolitan Municipality's main service building, which was evacuated and subsequently demolished.

İzmir Metropolitan Mayor Cemil Tugay signed the building permit, stating that a municipality building worthy of İzmir will be constructed as soon as possible.

The new building will be built on the site of the old one, designed with modern and eco-friendly features.

The project was designed with a public space approach, and it was stated that the construction process will begin as soon as possible.
