Perviz Altay, the President of IZAADER, met with Fuad Muradov, the Minister of Diaspora of Azerbaijan, in Baku.

During the meeting, the development of diaspora activities and the implementation of joint projects between Turkey and Azerbaijan were discussed.

Altay emphasized the role of Izmir in cultural diplomacy while working to strengthen the social, cultural, and academic solidarity of Azerbaijani communities in Izmir.

He also mentioned that a commemoration program will be held in Izmir this April to mark the 40th anniversary of the sister city declaration between Izmir and Baku.

Muradov expressed support for IZAADER's activities and stated that they are open to cooperation to strengthen the solidarity of the Turkish world.

The meeting was noted as a reflection of the 'One Nation, Two States' understanding between Turkey and Azerbaijan.
