Supervision Training for Forensic Interview Rooms Staff Begins in Izmir

The "Supervision-Based Aegean Region Meeting" organized to enhance the professional qualifications of personnel working in Forensic Interview Rooms (AGO) under the Ministry of Justice's Directorate of Forensic Support and Victim Services has started in Izmir.
The training program, held from February 2 to 6, 2026, at the Izmir Courthouse Social Facilities Meeting Hall, was organized with the participation of social workers, pedagogues, and psychologists from the Chief Public Prosecutor's Offices of Karşıyaka, Aydın, Denizli, Kütahya, Manisa, Muğla, Söke, and Uşak.
The opening program of the meeting, planned under the leadership of Forensic Support and Victim Services Directorate Judge Ahmet Haner, was attended by Izmir Chief Public Prosecutor Ali Yeldan and İzmir Deputy Chief Public Prosecutor Çağlar Ertaş, responsible for the Investigation Bureau for the Protection of Family and Crimes Against Women.
The five-day program aims to improve the knowledge and skills of personnel actively working as forensic interviewers in field applications.
Supervision-based sessions will focus on enhancing the effectiveness of victim services in judicial processes.
