In the Çiftlikköy district of Yalova, a 69-year-old retired teacher, Mahmut Yağmur, was found dead at home after being out of contact for a long time.

According to reports, neighbors of the retired teacher, who lived alone on the 5th floor of the Simge apartment on Bilge Kağan Street in the Mehmet Akif Ersoy neighborhood, notified the police after not hearing from him for an extended period.

It was learned that the teacher last entered his home after arriving in front of the building in his car on January 8 and had not gone outside since then.

Upon receiving the notification, police teams arrived at the scene and opened the apartment door with the help of a locksmith.

A check in the apartment revealed that the 69-year-old retired teacher had passed away.

After the examination at the scene, the body was taken to the morgue of Yalova Training and Research Hospital for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
