Yalova Governor Ahmet Hamdi Usta announced that 24 convicts who were wanted were captured in the places they were hiding during operations conducted between January 27 and February 2.

Between January 27 and February 2, police and gendarmerie carried out operations targeting convicts wanted due to prison sentences.

In these operations, 22 individuals with sentences of up to 5 years, 1 individual with a 10-year sentence, and 1 individual with a total of 27 years and 6 months of confirmed prison sentences for 5 separate crimes were captured, totaling 24 convicts.

Additionally, 40 individuals wanted for questioning were also captured.

Governor Ahmet Hamdi Usta stated on social media, "As the Yalova Governorship, our top priority is to ensure the peace and security of our fellow citizens in Yalova.

In this context, we will never allow individuals involved in crimes with arrest warrants to roam freely among us as if nothing has happened." Governor Usta also shared a video of a suspect captured in a hidden compartment during the operation.
