In Güngören, the investigation into a mother and her 16-year-old daughter, who allegedly staged a suicide after killing their sleeping father with a gun, has been completed.

The indictment requests life imprisonment for the mother and her two daughters.

The incident occurred on December 9, 2024, in an apartment on the second floor of a five-story building in Güngören Sanayi Mahallesi.

Eylem Dilsiz called the police, claiming her husband had committed suicide.

Upon arrival, the police found Murat Dilsiz dead from a gunshot wound to the head.

The investigation, which lasted about 14 months, concluded with the indictment naming Murat Dilsiz as the victim and Eylem Dilsiz (44) and her daughter Rojin Dilsiz (23) as suspects.

Additionally, it was noted that the investigation file for 16-year-old E.D.

was sent to the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office for Child Crimes due to her age.

E.D.

confessed to killing her father with the encouragement of her mother and sister.

The indictment requests aggravated life imprisonment for E.D.

and her mother Eylem Dilsiz for the crime of premeditated murder against a close relative.

The defendants are expected to appear before the judge in the coming days.
